Most SBB clients have never done anything like this before. Some come in excited. Some come in nervous. Many are somewhere in between. Every feeling is welcome here.Your session is not about trying to become someone else for the camera. It is about giving yourself space to be seen in a new way. We will guide the styling, the poses, and the pace so you can focus on being present in the moment.
The Process
From the first conversation through the moment you see your images, every step is designed to help you feel prepared, relaxed, and taken care of.
Step 1 — Plan your private consultation
Start by telling us what you are celebrating, what has you curious, or what feels a little intimidating. We will answer your questions, discuss current availability and collection options, and help you decide whether SBB is the right fit for you.
Step 2 — Arrive and settle in
When you arrive at our private historic studio in Poplar Bluff, you will be welcomed in, shown around the space, and given time to settle into the day. There is no rush to perform and no expectation that you have it all figured out.
Step 3 — Glam, styling, and wardrobe
Your session includes professional hair and makeup, plus access to our client closet with more than 500 lingerie pieces, robes, accessories, and styling options. Bring a few personal favorites if you would like, or let us help you build looks that feel right for you.
Step 4 — Fully guided photography
You do not need posing experience. We demonstrate each pose, guide your hands, expression, and movement, and adjust along the way so you always know what to do. We move at your pace and check in often, because feeling comfortable is part of creating beautiful images.
Step 5 — See the experience come together
After your session, you will see a preview of select images. Your ordering appointment is then scheduled so you can view your collection, choose your favorites, and decide which images and products you would like to take home.
